Dominican Republic
The aim of this expedition were diving in the Serena cave at the southern Caribbean seacoast not far away from Boca Chica and diving with Atlantic whales which come each year at January and they pair at the northern seacoast till end of March. Diving in Serena cave was unforgettable experience. We arrive to Dominican Republic unfortunately a little bit to late (1st week of April) so we were not able to dive with whales. The coral reefs of the Dominican Republic are not so colourful and rich with fishes as other tropic seas. So I was a little disappointed. You have to be very patient when searching for interesting shapes and themes. The colours are not so expressive as use to be in e.g. Pacific Ocean.
